Power & energy sensors
Introducing our range of laser power and single pulse energy sensor heads. If you want to measure the energy of each pulse within a train or burst up to 1 MHz repetition rate, see our Blink sensors.
(Almost) all of these laser sensors are available in 3 versions, depending on the connection mode:
- to an external laser power and energy meter (separate measuring console but with USB to PC connection)
- direct to computer or controller via USB (ta-dah, and we've already turned it into a meter!)
- direct to computer or controller via RS-232
Also ask about OEM sensors for integration into your machine or laser system.
The sensor + meter option is more expensive, but if you plan to expand to more sensors, it works out cheaper because the meter console will work with the new sensors without the need to pair them at the factory (PnP). Only one sensor can be connected at a time and not several.
Some features of these laser power and energy sensors are:
- Possibility to measure powers higher than nominal for a short period of time, maximum 2 minutes (depending on model).
- One laser power calibration at no cost (select wavelength or spectral range when ordering). Additional calibrations at extra cost. PTB - NIST traceable.
- Single pulse energy measurement option in addition to power (extra cost and must be specifically requested, depending on model).
All these products have 3 years warranty.
