Handheld probes

For one-off or occasional measurement of laser power, we can offer inexpensive handheld meters.
These power probes are compact and consist of a sensor coupled to its measuring unit (not detachable or interchangeable).

 

They are the ideal solution for maintenance technicians or simply when a low cost laser power meter is needed. They do not allow continuous measurement but only for a few moments, until the measurement is displayed on the screen. As they are only cooled by dissipation, after the measurement they must be removed from the laser beam to avoid damage.
It would be nice if for their price they could measure like a laboratory laser power meter-sensor, wouldn't it? But they are what they are and that is why we call them "hand-held probes". If we want everything...

These handheld laser power probes are also available in OEM format for connection to meter or directly to controller/PC by USB or RS-232.
